BEFORE THEY JOIN

Is Rookie right
for your swimmer?

RLSS recommends ages 8–12 and swimming skills equivalent to Swim England Stage 7, including 25 metres on the front and back. Our team can discuss your child’s experience and confirm suitability.

This is a children’s awards programme. It does not qualify a child to work as a lifeguard. Read the RLSS UK FAQs.
